Hi,

I'm looking for someone I would like to find and although I have a few clues I asked - what sort of place does this person live in

I'm seeing this so far as a warm place close to the mountains where there are wineries.

Hex 22.3>27

thanks Liss

My impression is a place which touches you inside and brings out your best outwardly. That's where you shine and flourish. This leads me to view an inward place or state of mind rather than a literal geographic location, to meet your envisioned someone.

But Napa and Sonoma county California all describe your image. I'd imagine Australia has some prime similar locations.

Good luck following your yellow brick road. ;)

Oh it sounds like a lovely place to be - thanks sooo. When I asked the question I was thinking geographically. - Liss

Hi,

I love the starting of this thread, this is great. Its funny, the first thing I thought of was Napa Valley California. But there are so many wonderful places, Greece, Hawaii, Italy, England, and many places in California or Oregon. Makes me want to go on an adventure and travel. Good luck! Have fun and share!! :)

Haha blue_angel glad you like - I was kinda hoping it was a little closer to home, maybe within a 300km radius otherwise I need to get a new job....Liss

Oh I don't like it. I love it! Haha. Maybe we could help more of we had an idea of where on the planet you are or what you are close to. I know some of the more experienced have a way of narrowing it down with the answers though.

Could it be somewhere it rains often or near a river/ocean, some type of water , near an art museum or art festival?

Oh dear I hope they don't live in a restaurant or cafe, perhaps a winery???

I live on the east coast of Australia on the Queensland/NSW border although more Queensland.

Maybe in a flat above a restaurant. Geographically, I keep thinking of Tasmania -- sun below mountain. Isn't this low sun season in Tasmania?

Oh maybe although I can't imagine that they would live there and it is quite a long way from what my intuition and other signs have been telling me.
I'm feeling it's the Sunshine Coast although I'm not 100% it's just sort of a pull in that direction.

show me a picture of this person being on the Sunshine Coast

Hex 48.2.4>31 - this seems to me it's possible

show me a pic of this person living in Tasmania

Hex 17.4.5.6>27

Hmmm could be more of a possiblity...

Ok, Australia is forever turning me upside down. If not Tasmania (an extreme), then a location farther south from you.

There's that 27 again, and 17 is the hexagram picture of a wine vessel (jue) -- more restaurant associations. This person is definitely somehow associated with food (imo) :)

Thanks pocossin - we'ill just have to wait and see now. The fact that they are associated (or may be) with food helps possibly to narrow it down a bit. Well at least it's a bit of a clue. Tasmania is a beautiful place and is actually very like the east coast of Australia but certainly not the humidity nor the warmth of Queensland. We are in Sprngtime now. - Liss

Eh! I grew up in Sydney couldn't get outta there fast enough - I don't really like the city I like a lot of space. It's about 1,000 kms away. I have one son in Sydney and one in Melbourne and they love their lifestyles but curiously enough they loooooove coming to where I live and chillaxing which in the bigger picture, where I live is a lot slower paced, on the coast, warmer weather so it makes for a lot more relaxed lifestyle. They ring me and they're pretty stressed to the max but if my youngest, who lives not too far away, even if he may be upset about something he's still got enough 'energy' to sort things out without hitting the wall first. - Liss

I was just thinking in terms of flat on top of a restaurant, I was thinking you would find that more in the city. Who are you looking for? If you feel like sharing. I too enjoy a more slow paced life, but I watch my daughters and their fast paced lives, that they love. Work hard, play hard, even the music is fast, and they love the city. I remember being just like them, so full of life and in a hurry like I had ants in my pants, maybe that's just what it is to be young.

This is interesting. I'd love to see this work out.

Did you ask "what sort of place does he live?" or "where does he live?"
If you asked what sort of place, maybe the response is more a description of the general feel or landscape of the place.

22. Mountain over Fire changing to 27. Mountain over Thunder.

Some ideas:
Could 22 be a volcano?
Could 27. be saying that he's living near his mother? Farmlands? Or near a mountain where there are earthquakes?

Mountain is the direction northeast
Fire is the south
Thunder is the east

Good luck

I went and visited a town I haven't been to for a very long time and it got me thinking about my original question.
It is further south like pocossin suggested and lots of foods are grown there. It has volcanic soil, farmland and there is a mother connection to it as aureolus suggested.

Please show me a picture of A (a place) becoming significant in my life

Hex 24.1.>2

Hex 24 - perhaps me returning there and if it becomes significant it will become a turning point in my life and Line 1 it will change plans I've potentially made.
Hex 2 - I felt an instant connection to it like I had in the past many years ago.

Hi Liss,

Just to share: I can travel light, pick up and drive anywhere in this country. But no matter where I'd go, there I'd be, just as I am now. The "window dressing" is different, but the same soul lives inside. That's how I'm feeling about it anyway..

Yes I would agree with that sooo and I'm the same - I have no ties, perhaps I'm looking for one. I also think you have to feel 'at home' where you live or you end up just like I did in the recent place I was living.

Now I'm out of it I realised how much I'd become such a negative and angry person without fully realising it. Since leaving there I've become open hearted again. - Liss

this is what was the catalyst to move right away from the area I'd been living in for 12 years - I found myself in the same 'space' just a different postcode so I knew a big change had to happen. Also my 2nd grandchild is due in a couple of months so I thought why am I living so far away from them when I wish to see them grow up and be a big part of their lives. Right now I'm in transit so to speak, staying with my son's little family and looking for a place of my own about an hour away. - Liss

I will start a new thread asking the questions I have now. :)
PS Happy New Year to everyone :bounce: :bounce:

Hi and happy Noodle Year, Liss!

My sweet niece keeps offering the opportunity to move in with her since her son leaves for the military and daughter left for college, leaving two vacant rooms. I could help with her rent and since she works, I could keep up the place, make dinner and be useful in return for her kind hearted generosity.

The funny part here is that your comments were a catalyst in considering this move, for very similar reasons as yours. Significant others, especially within the family, can make a big difference, not in who I am but in how I am. I haven't yet decided but I'm seriously considering it. I'm so tired of this area, and more specifically, the general population at large, that being near a very special person in my life (always has been) may make me a better and happier person, to say nothing of the beauty of seeing green, lush surroundings, and lots of water, salt and fresh. She has a small trailer which she tows to the beach and surf fishes, and coaxes me, saying, I could drop you off with the trailer and you can spend a week or more at the shore (shore means beach in east coast US speak), you can fish and relax. That sounds mighty nice to me during this time of troubles with dishonest and dangerous landlords who take advantage of my generosity and honest nature.

I've also received a kind invitation from a friend to stay for a visit overseas in a similarly seascape environment with a trusted friend.

So in way, we were both right, but it was your comments that have me considering what a difference a place and the people can make in how I am, as well as with whom.

How lovely ! How can you resist this ?

Again how lovely. For your health's sake this sounds perfect. And to be near someone who cares for you this much is going to do your health a lot more good than soldiering on in unfriendly circumstances. I wonder if the recent prison episode was also a message to tell you to get to where people care about you, and where the air is good and where you can fish and relax and have a nice life.

It's worth also thinking about the reasons you wouldn't take the offer too. Would you find it in some ways a little entrapping ? That's understandable too but it sounds like the pair of you could come to some comfortable arrangement.

Not meaning to usurp your thread Liss and I'm glad it's working out for you and that you'll be near your grandchildren :D

Thank you both for your encouragement. It may or may not happen. I swore I would never place someone in a position of having to care-take me later in life, and this applies to my generous and loving niece, perhaps more than anyone I know. Secondly, she and her husband split a couple of years ago. They still claim to remain monogamous to one another and there's still a chance they may reunite. I would not want to present an obstacle to their reunion. Thirdly, she has said this not necessarily as a permanent arrangement but as a way of regaining some peace in my life. Another temporary arrangement is not at all what I feel I need now, though I realize everything is transitory (h54), the uncertainty may place a sense of obligation on her shoulders, which is the last thing I want.

If my stay with her winds up to be temporary, I'll be faced with rents that are double of what they are here, and at this stage, in this condition, that simply does not work. So there are sound reasons for my reluctance.

I asked the Yi twice yesterday what the result of this potential arrangement would look like from Yi's perspective, and received the same answer both times: 13.6 - 49. Sounds logically accurate; it certainly would be a 49. Awhile ago I asked the same question, for the first time, and while I don't recall the entire reading, I do remember 28.6. The last time I received that line was before I moved into that un-air conditioned trailer, falsely owned by a meth addict, lying criminal, during the hottest days of summer, and I think it was there that my heart was shocked and oppressed, causing the pulse to drop to below half of a normal, resulting in needing a pacemaker. One must go through the water, soaking ones head. Is moving to a place over 2,000 miles away, completely altering the ears of my Ding, going over my head going to result in similar trauma?

There's further medical procedures I'm scheduled for that could take months. I suppose they can be arranged there, or at least the procedure after the pacemaker completion, or the stress of the move itself may further complicate these conditions, which would again fall upon my niece as a caregiver. I wouldn't want to further complicate her life with these things.

As a critical caregiver for my wife for the better part of our adult life is something I wouldn't wish to burden anyone with, which is why I've remained single all these years. Maybe that's wrong thinking, I don't know. It's just something I feel strongly about.

Nevertheless, I was researching airfares from Kingman, AZ to Raleigh/Durham, NC yesterday, so I haven't eliminated the possibility.

Yi's answers are becoming muddled again, which tells me to cool my jets and apply the brakes for awhile. So I'm returning to the unknown for awhile, focusing on a 32 and 4 state of mind, which for right now is what I need to do.

I believe life is a course in resistance training, and if that's so, my spirit becomes stronger, even if my body has become weaker. I'll continue to try and do the right thing.

God/gods bless you.

I asked the Yi twice yesterday what the result of this potential arrangement would look like from Yi's perspective, and received the same answer both times: 13.6 - 49.

It looks like a really 'clean sheet' reading going by Hilary's commentary and your situation

"Outside the walls there is an altar mound where many people can gather to make offerings. This is a wide open space, with enough room for everyone to be as they are without friction. And in the broadest, simplest sense possible, there is a shared interest that sets past conflicts in perspective. This doesn't mean that you can be in perfect agreement with everyone, but there is sufficient agreement that change can be accomplished. There will be no regrets for a phantom perfection; the past is left where it belongs, and a new phase begins."

Often I see this as a kind of remote line but in your case that seems a bonus. You and your neice together on the outskirts, this benefits her and you both.

Anyway yes there's all those other considerations you mention but I must show you the line pathway of 13.6, the reason being it can show how the situation feels inside

it is

13.6
49.6
50.1
14.1

I mention it because you already know how it feels inside as you saw that 50.1 here

Is moving to a place over 2,000 miles away, completely altering the ears of my Ding, going over my head going to result in similar trauma?

so the answer to that IMO is no you won't be going over your head as 28 appears nowhere in the line pathway and 50.1 does appear as a sense of how doing this may feel.

I swore I would never place someone in a position of having to care-take me later in life, and this applies to my generous and loving niece, perhaps more than anyone I know.

Is her dad still alive ? That would be your brother or is it a sisters daughter ? I was just thinking if her dad had passed on how much she might like to have you near. Being near doesn't have to mean full on care taking, which you may never need.

I see there's plenty of reasons not to go....but 13.6 is such a spacious answer. I mean it really doesn't give a picture of being indebted to someone, claustrophia....all that heavy stuff does it. It seems a very freeing answer.

Hmm anyway something to think about as you say....

Oh dear sooo all these things you're thinking of that may never happen and how do you know how she feels about all that you've spoken about - please communicate with her and please, please try to live more in the present moment.
Perhaps you have a lot to offer as trojan suggested and it sounds like she loves you so very much - perhaps you will be doing her a disservice by not going - you don't know until you talk with her.

I've no problem with anyone upsurping my threads - we are all here, I hope, to help each other through our journeys in life. Liss
