It's being a while now that i travel only for work - i do combine it with staying couple of days longer here and there, i squeeze in the time for sightseeing into the work schedule etc., but i end up sleep deprived and, ultimately - sick. It's being six days since i got home this time and i am really unwell - with bad flu symptoms, running nose, mild fever etc. I thought it psychosomatic, while my mother (who has relevant education) says it must be something to do with the flying/planes and the immune system being weakened by it.
(The regular medical check ups don't show anything alarming.)
The Yi says: 47.5 > 40
Is it a burn out? Is the Yi saying i need this "convalescent" period and shan't overthink it?
(While i was travelling for pleasure and sightseeing - i don't recall having such problems, it's last 10y or so that it started and it does bother me because i travel quite often so it is a nuisance.)
Thanks in advance for your thoughts!

I used to periodically experience what I've termed as a chi crash. Being a high energy Gemini, my insides are typically busy and sometimes tense. There doesn't have to be a specific reason, just that I am a sprinter, not a long distance runner, energy wise, and stress is my physical downfall. So at the end of every cycle of high energy would come a chi crash, along with actual flu like symptoms, such as exhaustion and listlessness, mental haziness, stomach upset; really weird.

That's my impression from your description, symptoms and reading.

Get well!

47.5 can show someone oppressed by something/someone who they have accepted as an authority....but who isn't one really. It's often a kind of lip service, you are meant to act like you take it seriously....but actually does this authority really have any power ?

How can this apply to your question ? I'm not sure. When you go on these trips do you feel like you have to please someone, defer to some system.....something that doesn't really agree with you ?

If so then have a rethink about how much authority those systems or people have over you . I love this line...it's often very liberating. You may find you have been obediently cowering to something that actually has no real authority anyway. It can be quite a humourous line !

If that doesn't fit at all then maybe just see where that idea may play into some facet of the situation. It might be saying the illness itself really need not trouble you though I tend to think thats less likley than the idea that the illness is a subconscious rebellion against these men in the red knee bands.....the ones who want to make you believe they they authority and you must please them. You rebel, quietly.....but you could actually say " i don't want this actually' .

Just some ideas to play with

Goodness, meng, i am a Gemini too (with Moon in Gemini in addition) and a 'sprinter' by default!!! Thank you so much for your input, it's as we say here "like a balm on a wound"! Chi crash describes it 100%! Thank so much, meng! :bows:

Trojan, absolutely, you nailed it! I am not sure how to send private messages on boards here, but if i figure it out i will write more detailed feedback to you; it is totally the case, has being for quite some and can't be bypassed in foreseeable future :(

Absolutely, but it has to be done - having bigger picture in mind.

They do not have authority, in terms of good reputation, but have power and influence... Ugh. :/ If you don't mind taking a look at one of my previous readings, here is the background: http://www.onlineclarity.co.uk/frie...changing-to-37&p=166180&highlight=#post166180

Spot on... If you look up the location i listed here, it pretty much describes it... One of the reasons i have such respect for Yi and such a desire to study it - it's that many, like me, are still in the position of the scholars who once upon the time served Chinese emperors; it's being said Yi was consulted by them so to keep their dignity, while keeping their heads on their respective shoulders... :bows:

This is exactly my case, fear of someone who I think has authority over me. I asked a question yesterday about my fears, (got 20,2,3,6>20and 3 unchanging). I then spoke to the landlord and felt much better, as I stipulated what I wanted to him, (while trembling) and he agreed without problem! There are more details to be ironed out and we have a face to face meeting tomorrow, so this morning I asked the Chung for an update, basically how did I do, where am I and I got 47.5>40. I was happy with that, for the first time I understood 47 in a different way. I didn’t resent getting it. A confinement that allows you to grow.
