work colleague ongoing 26 unchanging

Hello everyone, I posted a thread up about this a week ago and since then things between myself and a new work colleague have become even more intense. My response to the situation has been to step up my meditation practice and practice mindfulness at work to protect myself from any further involvement due to his involvement in another relationship. However this past week we have both given presentations at work and now our association has become even closer, as we discover even more creative connections in our backgrounds and ongoing interests.

There is a sense of enormous creative tension between us now being suppressed to bursting point... so I asked again a week after my last reading 'what is going on with work colleague x' and got hex 26 unchanging...

it describes so accurately my sense of what is going on, ... like my committment to doing the right thing, and keeping still, is creating almost explosive energy between us. I use this energy to sustain long productive work hours at the moment. I think Freud called it sublimation ha ha ha ha ha....

I aksed what he wanted from our connection and got 49.4. changing to 63... little bit unsure of that one.
Any comments gratefully received.

yes it's the same man... I can't really take him out to dinner, it might sound like I was asking him on a date. But soon we are going away for a day in another city, then naturally we will eat together although perhaps not alone, but we should get some time alone. That's what's needed... I think it's unwise to push this down for much longer, we need to face it compassionately together, especially as others at work notice (my female colleagues have made comments to me, as we women do) and we are both in responsible positions as co-leaders of a big project. It's becoming untenable... I can keep going as I am, I am free to do as I like, but the stakes are much higher for him... which I why I think his behaviour has changed so much in last 3 weeks or so... we've been working together for 3 months.

Whenever has has to talk to me in a group situaton he is very fidgety, his legs jiggle and he grins and giggles a lot. He is over 40. We do both like to laugh but now it's becoming almost inaproppriate.. he'll address one woman i work with normally, then me immediatey afterwards and he is like a jelly within a second. That's why I am watching myself all the time... to check I am not giving the wrong signals. I think there is very strong chemistry that's just there (61.3 before), but it can't go anyhwere due to his committments, and we have to do this work together. In time I am sure it will pass, but maybe the best thing is to face it like adults and get a grip of reality... the reality is I don't have affairs or break up relationships, and he probably doesnt want to stray deep down anyway. I think that's why he's behaving so strangely...the body says yes but the mind says no and the heart is in a spin...i think this is the problem in a nutshell

Sounds like you have your mind made up about what you want..

white owl... yesterday I spent a lot of time with him but at work, and for sure something will be said soon I think... too much chemistry... i fully expect him to say something soon.. in the next couple of weeks. At the moment its like the elephant in the room- don't think about it, don't say anything about it, just pretend it isn't there... but everyone knows it's there and can hardly think about anything else....no amount of suppression seems to have worked so far.:bows:

asked I Ching what he wanted... it said 21,2,4,5 to 61... he also wants to come clean about the elephant in the room I think. Waiting for the right moment...
