26.6>11 Coping with U.S. political changes

I asked something similar today, and again on another occasion. Response of Yi on both occasions was 12, (today uc). The situation seems to scream for some kind of response or action and Yi seems to be telling me there is no benefit in that at this time, and to take care of myself and my loved ones. Taking a deep breath...

Re-reading 26.6 - 11. Originally I was interpreting this line to be emphasizing the importance of staying informed but on second consideration it occurs to me that the sixth position describes a point when one is beyond the situation described by the hexagram, but is acting as if they are still in it. For example, hexagram 1. The Creative is all about persevering to accomplish your goal yet line 1.6 warns that if you keep on creating when it is past time for Creating (like working your body past its bedtime) then you are just being a bossy arrogant dragon and you will have reason to regret it.
Hexagram 26 advises expanding one's horizons (Judgement) by listening to the stories and experiences of those who have gone before (Image) - like reading the latest news reports, But perhaps 26.6 - 11 is advising that the time comes when we realize we've each had enough. We recognize that we could go on listening to stories forever but are we really learning anything other than what 26.6 tells us : It's all heaven's highway. We didn't build it, we just ride it.
Perhaps receiving 26.6 is telling yo you've had enough, you've had your fill, and it's time to consider if continuing to listen is promoting 11. Peace of mind or just the opposite. Maybe for you its past the time for listening to any more news stories and time to recognize it's all beyond understanding, it's time to go in 11. Peace?

I do think 26.6 is hopeful for things ultimately being good. Certainly the world has become much more aware of how politicians manipulate us and how we must not blindly trust others to do our thinking. Perhaps this is an important step in our spiritual evolution and one we would only finally learn* by being face with this current circumstance.

* I think the spiritual lesson we're force to learn is that not only is our freewill being taken over by Big Brother but much worse! : Big Brother doesn't know what he's doing any better than we do.

Interesting that 26. leads to 27. Nourishment. After hearing all the stories we realize we have to ask ourselves, is this information nourishing my heart or clogging my arteries?
