My body is in constant pain lately and it’s exhausting both physically and mentally, as I wonder to myself, will this pain ever end? That’s about what I asked, will this pain ever end and what can I do to help it end? 18.1.2.3.4.5.6>17. I get 18 often when asking about bodily and emotional pain. My ancestral lineage is ripe with mental illness, alcoholism, abuse, etc, that’s what I think of when I think of 18, but is there any significance to all the lines changing?

18 > 17 sounds like, yes, the pain will end. I’m sorry you’re in such a difficult situation. 18 > 17 might be following the clues of the pain in your body to find other help, healers, things like that? I’m sure you have tried and I’m not saying it’s always this easy 123 thing, at all, but this looks like retracing your steps almost, maybe releasing pain that’s not yours, things you inherited? Not sure what that brings up for you but maybe it’s about moment to moment experiencing and trying something different, following intuition, instinct, good advice. Maybe even learning practices that are like that? Somatic based? About being present with your pain and following its message? Good luck

I think you’ve said before, sorry for now remembering, what method do you use for timing? I’ve been curious to start learning a timing technique possibly.

The first is a reminder Bradford Hatcher gave (LINK) which one should keep in mind when diving down into this complex topic,
And the other is a reference Harmen Mesker gave (LINK) to a book where the topic is described in a historical context. (When started working with this book I almost got absent from this thread and shamefully overlooked Bradford Hatchers wise comment. )

On pg 62 Zhu Xi gives an explanation: LINK which I think is in accordance with the theoretical part of your question. I, for my part, have no practical experience as I can't call down to my memory having had all Lines changing - if this is asked for forget my posting here.
