There is a vague image of a bee honeynest ( is it the right word?) with all those polygons in my mind re 45 . And this flower has a polygon shape.

Interesting !!!

hmm... that IIIISSS very interesting about the shape. It looks very honey combish. Just 5 sides rather than 6. I love natures ways!

:) and yeah Meng, It's superman. It's a bit of a visual reminder for me not to follow the path of the hero which, being human, I have my tendencies. (Reality check! haha)

Maria, you have the image of a honey comb in mind for 45? That is an interesting 45 image.

Jimson weed grows everywhere here, including in my yard. Each part of the plant is highly toxic. Their white flowers only open before the sun comes up, and at that time the small bees swarm them for their nectar before they close up for the day.

I thought there may be a better gua for it, relating to the honey retrieved from such a toxic environment, but none came to mind. Any ideas?

Since 45 is generally thought of as clustering (i.e. honey comb :)), I thought I'd take the road less traveled, as a single bee who gathers nectar, since "getting it together" is also part of 45's meaning. Still, I think the toxicity issue could be played upon somehow.

AQ, your avatar reminds me of Tina Turner's tune, "we don't need another hero". If you're ever interested in a study of hero archetypes, specifically our inner hero and his/her journey, Joseph Campbell offers stimulating examples, stories and lessons. Perhaps you're already familiar with him.

Your 60 image makes me see two familiar sights, Hoover Dam in AZ, and a particularly favorite fishing area on Banks Lake in Wa state.

I thought choosing a spot, particularly deep, with radically fluctuating depths, was an interesting choice of subject. Strong element of Kan, danger, steep drop off, an abyss: as plainly exhibited in your shallow table rock, which one can safely presume drops off into a steep and sometimes turbulent place.

Water over a lake. I can think of no better example than a dam. :bows:

The man made retainer walls ....with.. windows? That I don't understand yet. The structure above is natural, but the building and guardrails (?) are man made.

Oh, and the red guy....

I don't know if anyone caught the other half of the "getting a buzz on" comment. Jimson Weed is sometimes eaten by those seeking a psychedelic experience, though they usually only try it once. If it doesn't kill them it won't leave a nice impression either. No ones drug of choice, except for those bees. I can't help but wonder if they're trippin'.

The little bee bee is gathering all of the necture. For sure 45. It's like it's gathering it's thoughts or it's energy.
Random thought: a lot of flowers have 6 main petals.

.

47 comes in my mind and especally LiSe's words.

re 45, yes that image have been in my mind for some time but never didn't though about it a lot. You can imagine my surprise when i saw your 45 image.

Clustering fits here.

I need to find a connection for the reason people gather togetherin 45 and the bees .
seem I have to study bees more, lol

Someone gave me the book Power of Myth by Joseph Campbell. Interesting stuff although I have not read it all. I would like to know more about the "inner hero". Is this a Jung thing?

For Hex. 60 I actually used images of the Wall of China to place around the banks. The red dude to me is a personal image of limitation. He is sort of watching the water from a far. Not swimming or doing anything, but rather focusing on what his limitations should be. (Almost a 33 thing) He is also alone and red for a reason. ;) The high rock walls are the true barriors or Levies. And the waterfall is supposed to be the exception or an example of when to let the water in. Waterfalls are relentless and powerful and quick to drop their waters. Just the same, we sometimes need to let go of even our limitations and add to the pot.

I have heard of this Jimson weed before. I am sure the bee's are taking with them a buzz.. and putting it in the honey too. That is veeeery interesting

Jung speaks to it, but Campbell specialized in it as the essential seeker myth. The Hero's Journey, or Monomyth, The Hero with a Thousand Faces. Books and video interviews and lectures, I'm sure there quite a lot on the net about them. http://www.google.com/search?q=hero...s=org.mozilla:en-US:official&client=firefox-a

Ah, yes. All comes into focus.

I messed around with this 53 for 2 days now. It is not what I have in my head, but I am having a hard time manifesting it. Perhaps I will rework it later.

Ah, thank you. Your image bears striking resemblance to Brad's translation, imo.
