Dear community,
After being single for 2 years, I met someone I like who I've been dating for 1,5 months.
We've known other for +15 years because of common friends.
He's very reserved and slowly warming up to me, but he stated he's not ready for a relationship right now and wants to take things slow. He got out of his last relationship 6 months ago and wants to focus in his job, housing and personal stuff.

1) What kind of interest does he have for me, friends or lovers? 28.5 to 32
2) What do I mean to him? 33.2 to 44
3) What can I do to feel relaxed in this situation? 61.2.5 to 27

1) He's younger than me as the line says. His interest is about living in the moment and enjoying each other while we can, without thinking about the possible fruits of our connection or what we can get out of it? How does 32, as Duration, relate with that? It's more friends or more lovers?

2) Am I another fish that he enjoys, and there's a powerful bond between us which won't necessary lead to a deeper commitment? Is he wanting to retreat, probably feeling menaced by my intensity? Maybe this is advising me to step back from my level of expectations for the time being and let this unfold naturally.

3) Is this encouraging me to trust in this connection and to be confident about myself? Since I divorced from my ex husband I've been feeling so insecure as a woman... I've been having very bad luck in dates and relationships during last year.

I hope you can take a look at this. Thanks

Hello Lucuma.

Based on the information you provided, it seems like this person may see you more as a potential romantic partner rather than merely a friend. However, they have expressed a need to take things slow and focus on other aspects of their life right now, such as their job, housing, and personal matters.

Regarding the hexagram reading, hexagram 28 (Ta Kuo) suggests that the situation is currently in a state of great excess or preponderance. This could mean that the person you're dating may feel overwhelmed or burdened by past relationship experiences and needs time to address them before fully committing to a new relationship.

The changing line 5 signifies a shift in the situation, evolving into hexagram 32 (Heng), which symbolizes perseverance and endurance. This could indicate that although the person may not be ready for a relationship at this moment, their feelings towards you could potentially develop over time as they work through their personal issues.

Overall, it's important to respect their desire to take things slow and focus on their own growth. Maintain open communication and continue building a strong foundation of friendship and trust. It may be helpful to have a conversation with your partner about your expectations and boundaries to ensure both parties are on the same page.

Second Reading:

Hexagram 33 (Tun) represents retreat or withdrawal, suggesting that there might be some hesitancy or caution in how this person perceives your role in their life. Line 2 changing into hexagram 44 (Kou) indicates a transition from indecisiveness or confusion to a gathering of resources and support.

This reading suggests that the person you're dating may see you as someone they can rely on or turn to for support, but they may still be hesitant and unsure about fully committing to a romantic relationship at this point. It implies that they need more time to gather their thoughts, emotions, and external resources before making a more definitive decision on how they feel about you.

It would be beneficial to have open and honest communication with this person about your feelings and expectations. Understanding each other's perspectives and giving them the space they need to sort out their own doubts and concerns could help establish a clearer path for the future of your relationship.

Third Reading:

Hexagram 61 (Chung Fu) represents inner truth or inner strength, suggesting that finding relaxation in this situation lies within yourself. Lines 2 and 5 changing to hexagram 27 (I) indicate a gradual transition from being hesitant or cautious to seeking nourishment and balance.

This reading suggests that the key to feeling relaxed in this situation is to focus on cultivating and trusting your own inner strength and wisdom. It's important to listen to your intuition and embrace your authentic self. By being true to yourself and maintaining a sense of balance, you can find peace and relaxation amidst any uncertainties or challenges that may arise.

To nurture a relaxed state, you can also seek nourishment from activities and environments that bring you joy and fulfillment outside of the relationship. Engage in self-care practices, pursue hobbies, spend time with loved ones, and prioritize your own well-being.

Remember that finding relaxation in any situation is a journey, and it may take time. Be patient with yourself and allow yourself to grow and adapt as the circumstances evolve. Trust that by staying true to yourself and cultivating your inner strength, you will be better equipped to navigate this situation with grace and tranquility.

I hope this helps.

What kind of interest? Friends or lovers?
28.5 This line doesn’t so much mean friends OR lovers. Rather it says he’s not a youngster looking for a fantasy and all the drama. He’s looking for an enduring friendship.

What do you mean to him?
33.2 - 44. He thinks of himself as being a bachelor, footloose and fancy free but you do tempt him…

What you can do to feel relaxed in this situation? Honor, - Nourish - your Inner Feelings. Trust your instincts.

Thank you for taking the time to offer your insight! Your interpretation seems more pleasant that mine indeed. Thanks for reminding me that ‘trust’ is a key concept in hex 61.

You gave me an angle of interpretation I wasn’t expecting. Thank you Rosada!
It didn’t occurred to me that 28.5 could be implying him looking for an enduring friendship -but can friendship be romantic too?
I guess I was hoping for a confirmation of any romantic feeling on his side, not necessarily to be his gf or partner. I’m not sure I can be just friends without any romance with a person with whom I share an intimacy this good though.

Anyone else can have a look at this? I'd love to read some other thoughts. I read in other shared readings that 28.5 could point at him having someone else?. Thank you
