July 27 54(4)-->19 Patience is the counsel for today. In the appended judgement in WIlhelm it mentions the desire 'to wait for something before going'. It may mean that some long cherished desire or outcome may have to be put on hold. But the upshot is very favorable.

For Monday 7/30

Hex #64 (no lines)

This could go either way, bad ending or a pleasant one for a new beginning?

Kinda scary :(

Good Morning

July 30th 35(2,6)-->40 Good day to get on with projects however the moving line two suggests some impediment or sorrow attached to undertakings. Line six is warning to be wary of pressing forward in situations that entail relating with persons with whom I am not closely connected. Good prospects but guarded. I think if I relate well there will be release of tension at some level. Hopefully also in the weather here which as I mentioned a few days ago has been humid and cloudy, but no rain.

Good Morning

28(5)--> 32 As with yesterday the yang element is in the majority. Today an overweighting is created and prospects for fruitful activity are dulled a bit by the moving 5th line.

Good morning:
53(2,6)-->48 Taking things one step at a time. Peace and concord. Setting an example for others. Practicing being in the world but not of it (line 6).

Hello

Still working with the 32.3.5.6 energy...

So far this week..It's 100 degrees in the shade here and my air conditioner went out, the boss is being more of a b***h than usual, and my transportation is caput, gotta' use public transportation in this heat, arrgh!

Scared to think about what the rest of the week is gonna' be like :(

Whoa!! Whatever could the "three years nothing" be about ?? (6 in 29)

(6)"unavoidable conflict"?

Great that it's only for the weekend! ;)

Blink,
Good question. The specific question I asked was Please provide me with a principle of right action (guiding counsel, in other words) for the weekend. So I think we need to look at line six in that context and not take the 'three years' thing too literally. Line six is a warning not to minimize nor indulge in the dangers one is, by nature, susceptible to. It represents someone who is entangled in his sins and with little hope of rescue. He has gone farther than that line in hexagram 24 about turning back when one has made a slight digression. I think it is line three. For the weekend, then, I need to be very cautious about those habit patterns, situations, persons etc. who may provide the opportunity to get on the wrong side of line six of 29. Moreover, should I not relate well to the line and keep on keeping on with entanglements the consequences will be dire. Not necessarily lasting a literal three years, but there definitely will deeply felt repercussions. Since I recently quit smoking, then, the oracle is telling me that this weekend provides a periods where returning to an old habit could be dire and that a lapse might be irreversible. But so far so good, at least with regard to keeping on quitting smoking.
