People are probably by now sick of my scientific approach to love, but I can't resist expounding on this one. It is called the 'theory of average attractiveness' and basically it is found that in nature, extreme beauty is shied away from just the same as extreme ugliness is. And surveys have show that the women that get all the men are the one's who are of average attractiveness. Why? From a science viewpoint they have the hardiest gene samples for survival of the fittest. From a psychological pov, they are more approachable and 'safer' in men's eyes perhaps.

So do not think that if you do not have movie star bombshell looks that you can't be just the apple of someone's eye.

I learned in Drama school that when you are having fun up there on stage, so is everyone else watching you. So thats it. When you are full of yourself (but not in an arrogant way) that is when you are a guy magnet.

And remember the two rules: do something novel that you would not normally do, and create a purified brain chemistry by saturating your brain with deep relaxation and self love--eliminating fear.

Thank you all. Tonight I was with my friend. We talked. We laughed. We're aren't toally in the same place, it seems. We also agree to liking each other very much. But I am more ready to go forward then he is ready. We also agree to continue talking, and see.

I asked Yi for what I expect next between us, and was given 11.1 > 46 Please give me your input but I believe this is a good reading.

Level of attractiveness: I am probably more attractive than him. But we also both have our physical quirks. Interesting theory. I especially like the "purified brain chemistry" suggestion. Do you know more about this? I do meditate, and wonder if there is something I can do like that to be more open and available?

Thanks Candid, just knowing that makes it worth the effort.

To purify brain chemistry it goes without saying that one must take time out from drugs, alcohol and nicotene. But furthermore, if one goes through a detox program, it is amazing what an effect that also has. I went through the program at the Optimum Health Institute in Lemon Grove, Calfornia and the whole time I was doing the program (wheatgrass and enemas, oh what fun!) I was too miserable to see what effect it might be having on me. But after that month of misery, I remember so well the day I was picked up from that place. I jumped into the car and put my feet up on the seat in front of me, almost with my chin resting on my knees--just as if I was a child again. I felt so good that I just can't tell you what a difference it made in me.

Most people won't do this kind of regimen on their own, and I think just being at home has its own stresses that silently keep you from deep, deep relaxation. By sticking yourself in an institution like OHI, and following the regimen to the iota, you give up all control over your life for a set period of time and the result is a return to youthfulness that you have to experience to completely believe its true.

Now I return every few years just to clean out and experience that regeneration all over again.

Pagan, thanks for sharing.

Omshante, you started out very positive for this relationship, do you still feel that way?

I've realized -- I've let him inside my emotional world, I've been far more vulnerable than he has been with me. He has been supportive to me in lovely ways. He hasn't really let me do the same. He have been friends, companions, and he talks with me alot, but it's not the inner heart stuff. But he can hear and recieve my inner heart stuff well. Of course I feel close to him! I also see that this dynamic has put him in a place of power, per se. I'm the vulnerable one and he is not. He remains in control. For whatever reason, he's allowed (and asked) me to be his cheerleader, but not to hold his heart. It's sad. I am sad. I would have been very gentle with it.

I think that the rule of "half way; no more and no less" is sooooo important. If you take more than you give, it is just as bad as if you give more than you take. That is why the slow, organic path is crucial to creating a solid basis for a relationship that can weather the test of time. When ever you give, you wait for a response. When he meets you half way, then you can give more. This creates respect in the relationship, it prevents either party from going off the deep end, it naturally sets the right boundaries that must be there to keep both people correct in the role they choose to take on with the other. Nothing is worse that trying to fix a relationship that has already fallen into a negative groove. I like in the IC in Hex 37 where it says "it is better to be too strict (with yourself) than too lenient." In this case, one's children are an extension of self. As long as we set our limits and hold firm, no one else can use or abuse us. This is because we never let it get that far off tract in the first place.

With my growing realizations, I've asked Yi what's the best path for me to take with him. I was given 44.3.5 > 64!

Getting back to Yi, can someone help with this and my previous reading? Thank you.

Did I take up too much time here? Maybe no one sees to respond to these last answers I was given. I hope for advice on the readings.

i always take a positive stance in my interpretions of the Yi because it has been a good and loyal companion to my life and my respect for it goes very deep. in return i have learnt how to laugh gaily at every twist and turn thrown onto my path, but the trick is knowing how to remain light. it makes you deadly attractive for a start. i was able to empathize with your situation because i too am in a relationship not to dissimilar and boy, do i love this person to bits. i find that the way to handle it is to keep it at a comfortable distance and see what the future has to offer. by positioning oneself with the cosmic forces (50) and remaining centred i feel very much in control and hopefully will get the outcome held inside, i also have a time limit on that, because i too have a life to live, one cannot wait forever. if it is not meant to be then, so be it. i still have my loving, loyal and guiding friend, the Yi to accompany me on my path. and what a jolly old time we're having right now. as i have said before, it is a rule of Tao that energies running alongside each other eventually converge and life as a rule is a 'personal experience created by positive or negative thoughts that manifest at the appropiate time'.

keep your mind open and positive with your goal in mind and see how life eventually takes you there. its fun and yes, can be hard work at times but its also very healing.
