Unchanged Hex 19

Hello everyone, it’s been a while since I have posted here. I would be most grateful for some advice. I have been in a very difficult situation with my ex for a long time, with my 11 year old son stuck in the middle of it. Over a year ago my son reported at school that his dad has been hitting him, which resulted in social services involvement and then a start of a lengthy court process to reduce my ex’s access to my son, which is still ongoing. I’m not going to into the full dinamics of it as it’s quite complicated but when the process started, my son was crying for help, asking not to see his dad. The court still made him do regular visitations and no one really listened as there was not enough evidence. A year has passed and I’ve noticed a changed attiude with my son. He started receiving expensive gifts from his dad, started lying and keeping secrets and last night he arrived back home after a week with his dad and said that he wants to spend more time with his dad. I got really upset because I know that he is doing it for the wrong reasons, as a result of brainwashing and manipulation as the next court hearing is nearing. We have fought so hard to reduce access to protect my son, I really don’t know what to do now. I asked “what am I supposed to do now, after what my son has said?” And received hex 19 unchanged. How do I interpret it?? Please help!

I think it's a tall order, an impossible task, to interpret your 19uc in these circumstances. At least I cannot attempt it, there being too much I cannot know, given it's about a child, it's just very difficult to know how to answer and I don't have much of a clue about 19uc here.

I mean this is a very serious issue because it is about the happiness and mental health of a child and it's a query where it kind of feels 'too big' to pass a quick interpretation on.

The only thing that comes to mind is that this is to do with the personal qualities you must develop to deal with this. In hexagram 20, viewing, one views from above, contemplates, with 19 it's pair there is also a kind of viewing/seeing but it is very close, kindly , protective.

19 also has to do with 'stepping up' to one's responsibility, think I read Brad say that, approaching to understand and to teach.

I think this calls on your highest qualities of care, to come near, to observe, to take responsibility in a very immediate way. 19 can also mean that which approaches you, that which you can call on.

If you pray then pray for this. Call out in your heart for guidance and it will come to you. Also be aware of helpful influences that are nearing you to support and guide you. Also call on those from your past, ancestors, all helpful spiritual influences because you need the strength and the guidance. Use whatever you believe in but don't imagine you are completely stranded with this problem because I think on a spiritual level, well on all levels, how a child is cared for is immensely important hence I think opening yourself up to spiritual support can help more than you think.

Many thanks Trojina, I have been praying and asking around for support. Someone actually recommended a guy called John Frank (johnfrankonline) that I speak to in the UK - has anyone come across him at all?
