Articulating seems a better fit. Like saying what you want or even articulating that you’re the candidate for the opportunity.Another word for 60 is "Articulating" - I wonder if that's a better fit for this one than "Limiting." Grow another segment on the bamboo stalk (go ahead and apply?), in the context of expectant waiting. If you end up no longer qualified when your number comes up, no harm done. But if you don't articulate, you might lament.
I'm not happy with how I'm explaining that - does it make any sense?

that makes two of us!I'm not happy with how I'm explaining that - does it make any sense?
Agree to disagree. We create boundaries and limits when we define an area or something, such as what we want. The boundaries of a body of water are defined by the banks of it. This is in here and that’s out there. We can do this with things we’re seeking as well. You and Liselle are mixing up two things that have nothing to do with each other.
60 has nothing to do with speaking or enunciation or asserting ones will or wishes, Articulation is a terrible terrible choice of names for 60.
60.3 is a warning about the consequences of having no limitations (usually for oneself) It's a line of suffering.
What if I were to look for a new place through low income housing? 60.3 > 5
Nailed it. Articulating for not so dummies.Bamboo only speaks when we carve holes in it, purse our lips and blow.
I'm American and from what I've read, it's usually years here too. My lease ends much sooner than that but its better to plan for the future knowing rent prices aren't likely to go down enough for me any time soon. I'm confused by thisismybody's comment about it being potentially unsafe, all the places I looked at were very nice. My family was in homeless shelters for a time when I was in middle school so anything that isn't a mat on a cafeteria floor with no pillow sounds pretty safe to me.Speaking as someone who lives in 'low income housing' it isn't any less safe than other housing though it does depend on location of course.
In the UK certainly it is a very very long wait for low income housing so it is never the case one can just opt for it and it is never just 'low hanging fruit' since it takes years and years to get anywhere and these days even homeless people have to wait years
In general it's a bad idea to have a good idea or option and then not go ahead because of an answer one doesn't understand. There can be no harm in going on a waiting list especially as it may be years and years before you get anywhere.
The line says
'Not like limiting means it will be like lamenting.
Not a mistake.'
That says to me it is a good idea to make definite plans rather than leave things open. It does not say to me 'no do not take a sensible move and go on low income housing list'. Agreed it's not the clearest answer, I don't know why you cast this but neither can I see why anyone on a low income wouldn't go on a social housing waiting list at least in UK. Don't know what country you are in.
Makes total sense, thank you!Another word for 60 is "Articulating" - I wonder if that's a better fit for this one than "Limiting." I'm going to say something controversial.... that sounds like Texas No hate, I'm just from Utah and I feel things are significantly safer here. My uncle lives in Austin, I like the city but I wouldn't live there. But anyway, in Utah we do housing through the city/countyI meant low-hanging fruit as in taking the first thing or easiest thing to get, or something offered but not the thing one should want. Maybe the low-hanging fruit in this situation isn’t low-income housing or maybe it is. Not all housing is created equal.
Here in Texas, USA, location and crime ratings go hand in hand here. Safe low-income housing in Texas is definitely dependent on whether city or town and what part of the city. We also have high-end, low-income housing in cities. This is rare and wouldn’t be low-hanging fruit. Theft, mugging, etc. are higher in most of these communities, depending on the location. So is the quality of the housing. I work for a utility company and there are low-income housing projects we won’t go into without police and areas that police stay away from. I work in energy management and could list my reasons for being aware of the location of the housing, especially since I’ve responded to two hostage unit calls in the past 6 months. Seems the UK is different than Texas.
Going on waitlist doesn’t hurt anything. Low-income housing in a more stable or nicer area seems a thing one would want to articulate. But we apply to the particular housing of our choice here based on area. We call it section 8 housing. Some of it is pretty nice. Maybe floranova has this option.
…also, section 8 housing is offered by private companies and home or apt owners here.
60.3 is a harsh warning about the consequences of having no limitations (usually for oneself) It's a line of suffering.
You are just writing about it abstractly not applying it to the question, yet ?I've recieved this line after spending too much money or waking up with a hangover. (See? From not respecting limitations)
Hmm, I'm not sure what limitations I could overstep in this situation, other than making too much money (gosh, what a problem lol) any theories?that makes two of us!
No it doesn't make sense.
The word for 60 means 'joint'
As in the hard segmenting joints of bamboo. Any given segment of bamboo has hard sides on both ends, the hard spots are the limitation of a given segment: it's this big and no bigger.
Limits, edges, boundaries, amounts sufficient and not excessive...etc
In human behaviour, which Yi is often referring to, this line could refer to : doing too much of something and suffering for it. It can refer to having no boundaries.

Yes, you got it.You are just writing about it abstractly not applying it to the question, yet ?
This sticks, for me."Inching process" seems like 60, because the nodes on bamboo are like a crude ruler, divided into segments
I feel ME has a point here. Just read this thread, floranova. https://www.onlineclarity.co.uk/friends/index.php?threads/what-do-i-have-to-live-for-37-6-63.35972/Yes, you got it.
My curiosity is tingling in the direction of the recent-ish events in the querents life that have led to the current situation.
I'd wager there is a story there.
A long story. My life has been interesting. 🫠 Long family history of poverty and abuse and substance use and mental illness. It's not easy to break out of such deep patternsYes, you got it.

Yikes Thats so scary. If Utah wasn't so expensive I would definitely stay. I didn't realize as a kid how lucky I was to grow up on such a gorgeous piece of land but it looks like west coast people have caught on. I imagine coming here from Los Angeles is so refreshing. Sad for me that I can't afford it but I can't blame them hahaFloranova, Utah is probably much safer than Texas, especially San Antonio, which is where I live. The I-10 corridor is a passageway for traffickers. We have really unsafe low-income housing communities here in this city. But also some nice ones. I lived in a small town in SE Texas that had a few, very nice low-income apt complexes. Not long wait times. But really restricted on income levels. I tried to live in one and was denied for making too much money.
If you get to choose, get on the waitlist since they are nice and safe where you live.
For the record, I’d like to move out of San Antonio and Texas. Red rocks are calling me. Haha
